Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy

Cancellations by the Company

We may cancel or modify tours due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

Extreme or unsafe weather
Safety or operational concerns
Situations where terms and conditions are not met

If we cancel a tour, we will offer:

An alternative date or activity (subject to availability), or
A full refund of the amount paid if rescheduling is not possible

Cancellations by the Customer

All cancellations must be sent in via email to tours@intothewildmadeira.com

Half-day and One-day Tours:

Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before start
Cancellations less than 48 hours before may result in partial or full loss

Multi-day Tours:

Full refund if cancelled at least 72 hours before start
Cancellations less than 72 hours before may result in partial or full loss

Late Cancellations / No-shows:

No refund will be issued

Group Bookings (10+ participants):

20% deposit required at booking
Full deposit refundable if cancelled >30 days before
Deposit non-refundable if cancelled <30 days before
Remaining balance due 1 week before the tour
